VBCSCompiler.exe packed in this release? VBCSCompiler.exe starts when clipboard fusion launches and stays running in the background. It's unessential.

Hi Ben,

That compiler allows us to precompile macros when ClipboardFusion starts, otherwise the wait time would be quite long to run a macro every time ClipboardFusion syncs.

Thanks!

Hi Ben,

Our lastest beta should terminate that process after pre-compilation is done. If you run into any issues after updating, please let us know.

Thanks!

Windows gets very unresponsive when VBCSCompiler runs (every now and then). Very very annoying. Overall makes system very sluggish. Disabling clipboard sync helps somewhat.

Pro 5.9.1.

We have an idea for fixing that up and we'll include it in the next beta.

Thanks!

We've just released a new beta version of ClipboardFusion (https://www.clipboardfusion.com/Download/Beta) and this issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!

I haven't went through the change log, but I ended up adding the file to disallowrun in a group policy. I also made a registry entry to disallowrun.

Code

Apply Group Policy
Hold down the Windows Key and press “R” to bring up the Run dialog box.
Type “gpedit.msc“, then press “Enter“. The Group Policy Editor appears.
Expand “User Configuration” > “Administrative Templates“, then select “System“.
Open the policy “Don’t run specified Windows applications“.
