v5.8.3 didn't show full pinned items list. v5.8.4 didn't stat at all, e.q. I saw the prosess but nothing more. Restore 5.7 from backup, just copied the folder, working well. Sys partition backup is a great feature.
We changed the Local Pinned Items in 5.8 to have their own setting instead of just using the same value as the Clipboard History Item count. From 5.8-5.8.2 this setting's default was 20 items, which was way to few. The good news is that it doesn't delete these items, so all you need to do is change that setting's value to something higher. Here's how to do it:
Open the ClipboardFusion Settings window to the "Clipboard History" tab
Change the "Maximum number of items in the Local Pinned Item list" to something bigger than 20, like 100 or 200.
Click OK to save and apply your changes
As for 5.8.4 not starting up, do you think you would be able to send us a debug log? Here's how to get that to us:
On the ClipboardFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
I tried to build the log:
- Started log on 5.7 (L1)
- Upgaraded to 5.8.4, process started but application (icon, kbd calls)
- Killed appplication vie Prosess Lasso
- Overwrote the CF folder from backup
- Started Ok
- Turned off the logging
Can you try using this setting to disable the crash reporting? Ironically we have had a couple instances where the crash reporting is causing ClipboardFusion to crash. It's an issue we're working on for the next release.

Thanks! When you say you only saw the process but nothing more, did the process show up in Task Manager and then disappear immediately? Or did it show up and stay there, but there's no tray icon for ClipboardFusion?
