Hi There
There looks to be some sort of database located here on my machine:
C:\Users\slouw2\AppData\Roaming\ClipboardFusion
What are they?

Can i prune this at all?
Tight for space.
thanks for any reply

I'm not 100% sure if it's safe to delete those files but I will pass this on to our devs and they'll keep you posted.

Thanks!

The .cfcache files are ClipboardFusion's caching files for things like images and large amounts of text that are loaded into the Clipboard Manager so ClipboardFusion doesn't use up too much memory. I don't recommend deleting these files because it might cause some problems. ClipboardFusion will delete them from your hard drive automatically when it shuts down, and if you see a lot of these file, try clearning out some of your older images from your Local Pinned List and Clipboard History.

The .db file is ClipboardFusion's database where it stores your Clipboard History and data for it's other lists. You can delete this file, but you will lose all of your saved local items.

I hope this helps!

This is bug, which severely compromises security!

I just took a look at this directory and noticed some very sensitive data being perma cached here!! The latest cache file is over 6 months old!!!!!!! AND nearly 2GB of data and 100+ cached files! I checked another system... 1GB of data and 200 cached files. Some of these are images (even PSD's, and TGA...), but mostly text, pdf, and word files... some were even very old revisions [with markups] of word documents... all of which are readable in notepad! All one needs to do is change the file extension and it's a functional copy of that particular file copied, moved, etc... these documents were supposed to be cleared from the systems clipboard. The entire point of "Clear Clipboard Contents" and "Clear Clipboard History" is to remove the data from the systems clipboard NOT cache and save the data.

This is all fixed up in the latest beta version, available here: https://www.clipboardfusion.com/Download/Beta/. The final version will be out within a couple of weeks as well.
