When that happens, if you right-click the ClipboardFusion tray icon and choose "Show Preview Popup," does it show the text, or say there's nothing on the clipboard?

Interesting! When I do this, I get the image in the preview popup every time, which is somewhat expected, because Excel puts both image and text on the clipboard when you copy something.
Could you attach a backup of your ClipboardFusion settings? (Settings > Options > Export)

I'm having the same problem. I am able to paste something right after it's copied but if a couple minutes pass, I'm not able to paste again (nothing happens when hotkey is pressed). Preview popup says the clipboard is currently empty.
@sannpeterson: On the ClipboardFusion Settings > Clipboard Manager tab, do you have the "Automatically clear clipboard after" option enabled?
