Hello,

I have ClipboardFusion configured to use Win + V as the scrub clipboard and paste option. The key combination is then macro'd to my G500s mouse as a shortcut for pasting.

If I try to use the shortcut using any text that has formatting it works fine. If I try to use the shortcut using any text that does not have any formatting, nothing pastes.

I've attached the log set to minimal. In the log you can see I'm trying to paste an Incident Number: INC000001548397

Windows 7 Enterprise x64

Thanks! I don't see anything suspicious in the log, and when I test this here with Notepad++, it works for me. Which application are you copying the text from, and which application are you pasting it into?

I've tested the following:
  • Firefox to Notepad++ | No paste
  • Notepad++ to Firefox | No paste
  • Firefox to Word | No Paste
  • Notepad++ to Word | No paste
  • Firefox to Excel | No paste
  • Excel Formula Bar to Firefox | No paste

It appears that it is happening for ever application.

I've also found that if I try to paste anything that does have formatting multiple times using the paste and scrub shortcut, it'll only paste once. All subsequent attempts have to be done with the regular windows shortcut.

I do use a text expansion application that does hook into the clipboard, and I thought that might have something to do with it. I Closed the application and restarted ClipboardFusion, but the same is still happening.

Could you backup your settings (Settings > Options > Export) and attach them? I'd like to try restoring them here to see if I can get this to happen. I still can't reproduce that behaviour, nor the second issue you mentioned either :(

Thanks! Looks like it's a bug with the "Text Scrubbing Message" setting. If you change it to "Always show a message when scrubbing," this should work for you. We've added this to our list to fix up, as the message shouldn't actually affect whether or not it scrubs/pastes :)

We've just released a new ClipboardFusion beta (https://www.clipboardfusion.com/Download/Beta) and this issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!
