ClipbpoardFusion Pro 5.9 (trial)
Office Pro Plus 2019 v2108
Is ClipboardFusion supposed to keep the text formatting when copying from Word and pasting to Word? In my tests, formatting is kept when I paste from the Clipboard itself but is lost as soon as I paste from the CF Clipboard History.
The ClipboardFusion history doesn't store formatting, but we do have this open as a feature request. Would you like me to add your vote to it so we can let you know if we have any news on it going forward?
A proper clipboard manager should preserve and make available for pasting all formats supported in the source, with the option to select a default format for pasting depending on the source formats available. Since Clipboard Fusion is so slick and professional-looking, and since it costs money, I just assumed it would do that before I paid for it (my bad). The deficiency makes it pointless for routine tasks/general use. I would be grateful for any recommendations for alternative clipboard managers that do it right.
Sorry to hear! If your purchase has been made within 30 days, we can offer a refund. Just reach out to us on the "Contact Us" section of this page: https://www.clipboardfusion.com/Support/

Thanks!
I was wondering. I thought I had a setting messed up. I just downloaded today and was browsing the forums for this question. Good thing I hadn't bought it yet. I use the formatting way to much when copying between word documents.
