Hi,
I've been using CF for almost a year and I love it! Just a quick question: would it be possible to paste multiple items at a same time from the CF manager window?
Thanks!
Alex
I can certainly add that to our feature request list. In the meantime, do you always want to paste the same # of items (e.g. the first 5 items)? If so, we could do up a Macro that would do that for you.

Try enabling this setting. You can paste as many as you like. The only drawback CF won't close automatically after it loses focus.

Is this macro documented somewhere? I used to use "Ditto" and the one feature that it had that I miss in CF is the ability to paste multiple items (with a linefeed in between each). I would copy a number items, hit the history hotkey and then be able to hold down shift and hit the down arrow to select the history items I wanted to paste. The list of items was then pasted into a list, each on its own line.
Otherwise CF is awesome and, obviously, my clipboard manager of choice now!
Cheers!

I don't think we ever made a Macro for this. We could write one up that lets you specify the last X number of items you want to paste and then it does the rest. Is that something that might work for you?

Looking at moving to CF from ditto as well and I use the multiple paste pretty extensively. As @N81 mentions ditto is a dynamic multiple select so a fixed number in a macro wouldn't be very helpful. It would need to be more of a UI level change that would allow the shift (and ctrl) keys to be used for multiple item selection in the history window.

Hi Keith, sorry for not answering your question. Like nth said having a fixed number of paste items wouldn't really be useful since the number of items to paste is almost always different. The functionality that we propose would be as follows:
Copy any number of items
Use the ClipboardFusion hotkey to open up the Clipboard Manager
Hold down shift and hit the down arrow to select the previously copied items
Hit return and the items are pasted, each on its own line
ClipboardFusion is still my one and only clipboard app (after all, I liked it so much I bought it) but this feature is the only one that I miss regularly.
Cheers

Ok, thanks for the clarification! If we're able to implement something like that in a future version, we'll definitely let you know.
Thanks!
