I use clipboard fusion often to copy/paste text from pdfs. Many of my pdfs are OCR'd and the text is not clean, so CF helps a lot with that. But I'm wondering if there is any way it can help me deal with the problem of extra spaces within words, which some of my pdfs have for whatever reason. The text will be "clipboard fusion is useful" but when I copy/paste it becomes "clipboa rd fusio n is usef ul". Is there any way to check the words on the clipboard and remove any spaces that are between two text strings that are not recognized in the dictionary as legitimate words? Maybe it would check if the two strings combined are a legitimate word, and combine them only in those cases? I know this could cause some false positives and remove spaces where I want them, but I think adding in a few needed spaces would be much easier than removing dozens of incorrect ones. Thanks.
Hi Frank,
Unfortunately this would be pretty tough to get setup and working properly. It's quite a bit out of our scope for simple scripts we offer for our customers.
Sorry!
