Hi, my clipboardfusion.db file has a size of 1,3 GB. As I have to free up space on my C: partition, I would like to reduce this size. How can I do this? I habe set my clipboard history to 30 items maximum.

There are also 600 CFCACHE files in the database folder, totalling another 1,4 GB. How can I purge them?

We've just posted ClipboardFusion 5.3 Beta 1 today which should clean up the .cfcache files. The next beta will have a fix to trim up the clipboardfusion.db size.

If you don't need your local history/pinned items, you can exit ClipboardFusion, delete clipboardfusion.db, and start it back up.

Hope that helps!

I'm still experiencing the same problem (my DB is more than 4Gb) with version 5.9.1 beta 2.
For me deleting the db file is not an option, since I don't want to lose my local pinned items.
Can you please help?

Hello,

Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:

  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Could you also send me over a debug log? Here are the steps:

  • On the ClipboardFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue (Copy a few items, and let it run for a bit) and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!
