Would like to request a feature that would extend the line items 0 to 9 with Alpha Characters after the line numbers as seen in the image below. Would allow for more fast keys when pasting from a list withing the ClipBoardFusion application.

Yes, this is really good idea! Better to use alpha keys as shortcuts than interpreting them as attempt to conduct search. For search, simply put focus in the search box by pressing TAB and type what you want including numbers and even special characters

I've added this to our feature request list and we'll be sure to let you know if/when we're able to implement it in a future version :)

Thanks!

Even better... omit 0 and continue with the numbers 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, etc. I set up a maximum of 10000. Why do I have to limit myself to only the first 10 numbers?

@GabrielPR

I think your original idea to extend 0 - 9 shortcuts with Alpha Characters still holds.

Word 'shortcut' imply that it should be, well, short way of accessing items. Typing '10' on opposite sides of keyboard is not short and prone to errors. Anyway, Clipboard Manager allows to see no more than around 40 items. How will you know what that '99' shortcut would hit?! Even for pinned items it is impossible to remember what item corresponds to which number, especially for proposed shortcuts in double digits.

It seems 0 - 9 plus A - Z = 38 items is a good balance, but more would be overkill

If it is overkill or not should be the decision of the user. Maybe the user has a photographic memory and he can cope with even 1000 entries. So, every user will customize the program according to his capacities. I don't see why the devs should limit him.

Apart from that, why 40 characters is the limit of the manager to show. Why not more? And why is all the words arranged in one long column (you have to scroll up and down)? Why not many columns?

OK, my idea is that freedom for the user to choose should be 'fully' implemented. But if the devs cannot do this, at least increase the limits and implement more columns (so, we are saved from scrolling). Say, 1000 words for the manager to show. 1000 is a good number if you want to limit. For people like me working with tons of foreign terms to be inserted in my documents, this is a must.
