Apologies if this has been asked before - I haven't been able to find it in a forum search - but is there a way to drag and drop an image from the clipboard to Photoshop, or any other image editing application?

Any time I have tried this I simply get the (not allowed) circle with diagonal line.

Yes, it works with Word 2016, but Word isn't an image editor.
