ClipboardFusion Pro appears to be creating up to hundreds of randomly named folders in my C:\Windows\Temp folder. There are 2 files inside each folder: an .err file, and a .out file. What are these files for?
I have attached a screenshot of this anomaly. I might have attached duplicate screenshots, as this web page doesn't display any confirmation that an attachment has been uploaded.

Hello,
Those are likely the pre compiled macros. When you compile that code, it has to be stored somewhere to run, so it looks like it stores it in that temp folder.
Thanks!

Hi there, I have to report the same problem since a recent update. I currently have 3,412 .out files and 3,332 .err files in my temp folder, all generated in the last 30 days (I purge temp files older than 30 days).
Looking at the timestamps, it would seem CF is reproducing them every 30 minutes. Some are directly in temp, some are in a subfolder.
Looking in my purge logs (they lag 30 days behind the creation of these files), on Jan 10 (which purged any files created before Dec 10) there were none to purge, and on Jan 25 (which purged any files created before Dec 25) they were being purged. I had purging offline between jan 10-25, so these files started being created somewhere between Dec 10-25.
Finally, I do have a few macros, and since aforementioned update, they delay about 5 seconds before execution.
I'm pretty sure there's a bug in here somewhere...
Hi Alex,
ClipboardFusion syncs every 30 minutes, so it fires a task to make sure everything is still precompiled after the sync.
Does that 5 second delay only happen on the first run of a macro, or every time you try to run it?
Thanks!

Hi Owen, thanks for the response.
Yes every time.
Hi Alex,
Is this happening with a specific macro, or any macro?
Thanks!
Hi Alex,
Do you have "Keep Clipboard Manager open after losing focused" enabled in the ClipboardFusion Settings > Clipboard Manager tab?
Thanks!

That option is unchecked.
Can you try enabling that setting and see if the issue persists after restarting ClipboardFusion?
Thanks!

Hi Owen,
The enabled sitting didn't change the behaviour.
However I need to apologize, I was previously incorrect about a behaviour: the 5 second delay only occurs on the first execution, per macro.
It will then not recur for 30 minutes, presumably after what you said was a sync / new pre-compile.
I originally answered every time because I'd seen it recur several times throughout the day, but I should have checked explicitly.

Hi Alex,
Ah okay, thanks for clarifying. We are aware of this issue, and we have it on our list to look into, so we'll be sure to let you know if we have any news on it going forward.
Thanks!

Thanks for the update.
After first install, no delays.
I'll let you know if anything changes.
