Sorry, could you clarify request #1? I'm not quite sure what you mean.

For #2, unfortunately the Macros are only available in the Windows desktop client.

Regarding #1, I wonder if he means he would like a way for the app to temporarily stop monitoring the clipboard. Like a pause and resume button. This way, if he's copying something secret or private (like a password), it won't capture it.

Ah, maybe! If that's the case, you can add programs to the Ignore Programs tab in the Settings window. I add my password manager there to make sure passwords are not copied :)

So, if for example, an email has a password or some other relatively private piece of information, I would:

  • add the email app to the list of excluded apps
  • go back into the email and copy the information
  • go to the app where I need to paste and paste the information
  • go back to CF app and remove the email app from the list of excluded apps

That ain't exactly easy. :-)

Ah I see. So with that app, when you tap that widget/button, the second window opens with the clipboard items?

@DesertDwarf: Good point, I've put a "pause" feature on our feature request list :)

We've just released a new ClipboardFusion beta (https://www.clipboardfusion.com/Download/Beta) and there's now a "Pause/Resume ClipboardFusion" hotkey that you can use to toggle the clipboard listener on and off.

Thanks!

Because of the word "hotkey" that was used in your message and because I can't find it in the link you gave, I'm suspecting this really didn't apply to the Android version in spite of the location of this thread?
