Is there a way to disable the text scrubbing sound? Clearing the path to the sound file just repopulates it.

Looks like that's a bug! We'll put that on our list for the next beta :)

Hey!
Running Beta 2 on my Win 10-64 laptop, and it's great, but...
a) got the same audio issue already mentioned - cannot disable the "copy swoosh" audio
b) it's hanging quite often for me :(
the tray icon is shown, and can be clicked/right clicked
when right-clicking the menu is shown OK, but the busy icon cursor shows over the menu.
so have to use task killer to zap it and then restart it
c) Is there a way to retain the clipboard list across reboots?

Thanks!
Kev

Clipboard fusion appears to scrub the clipboard text when using the "cut" command within Word. I have scrubbing set for "double copy." It works properly when the "copy" command is used, but a single instance of the cut command causes scrubbing.

@plinkykev: The hangs are on our list to fix for the next beta, and regarding keeping history across reboots, that's planned for a later beta as well :)

@Fred: We'll check that out. Thanks!

@Keith - I am also experiencing Clipboard Fusion automatically scrubbing the copied text after I copy and paste in Word. In other words, if I paste the same text a second time, it has been scrubbed of all formatting. I have Clipboard Fusion set to scrub on double copy (hitting Control +C twice quickly). I don't know if it is related to the above issue or not.

@Fred: I was able to reproduce the Cut issue but not the Copy issue. For the Copy one, I copied some formatted text with Ctrl + C, then did Ctrl + V, and Ctrl + V again. Both times, the text kept the formatting. Did I miss any steps?

That is what I have been doing. I have to say that it does not happen 100% of the time. It is odd. I just tried it now and could not reproduce it. I'll report back more specifically if it happens again.

I have now been able to reproduce the issue in both Outlook and Word. Here is what happens:

I copy text using Ctrl+C. My settings are that scrubbing should occur on double copy.
I paste text using Ctrl+V.
I then get a notification from Clipboard Fusion that the clipboard has been scrubbed.
Any further pasting using Ctrl+V does so without any formatting.

One other oddity: I cannot change the settings for Double-Copy Sensitivity. When I change the value and click "Apply" it simply resets itself to the defaults.

Exuse me, didn't find any info about this. Did you implement save history feature? I mean that all history points will be available after restart.

@Max: Not yet, sorry. That's coming in a later beta.

@Fred: I've confirmed that double-copy sensitivity issue and have added it to our list. I will re-test the Word copying issue as well :)

Waiting this feature very much. As far as I understood from global forum discussions I'm not alone :)

@Keith - one other odd thing. When I copy an item in a Word document, Word thinks now that the document has changed, and needs to be saved. It doesn't because no change has been made. The only thing that has been done is text in the document has been copied. This did not happen with previous versions of Clipboard Fusion.

Any progress on this? I'm experiencing the copy scrub in all Office documents now, and it is driving me nuts. I essentially can't copy with formatting any more using Clipboard Fusion.

Not yet, sorry! I'd recommend rolling back to 4.2 for now and we'll hopefully have those issues fixed up for 5.0 Beta 3.

Thanks!

Can you confirm that I'm not the only one having issues?

@Keith - I am now getting scrubbing all the time in version 4.2. Something is obviously wacky with the scrubbing feature.

Is it still set to Scrub on Double-Copy in 4.2?

Yes. I notice it most often when copying in Excel. The scrubbing does not happen every single time, but like 75% of the time.

Excel does really weird stuff with the clipboard. If you add Excel to the Ignore Programs tab in the ClipboardFusion Settings, does that fix it up?

@Fred: The issues with auto-scrub in Word should be all fixed up in the latest ClipboardFusion beta. Please let us know if you still run into any trouble.

Thanks!
