Thank you for the continued development of a great product.
Re: "Change: Macros are now pre-compiled for faster first runs" - I have double checked that the setting has not been disabled, but I'm finding the loading of macro's very slow for the first run. After the first run though, the macro of subsequent runs is quick - that's what I would have expected for the first run with this new feature.

Just a check if there is any feedback on this. Now running the new release, but the first time launch of a macro is still much slower than in previous builds. Just timed it after a reboot and the first macro took 12 seconds before launching. After that it is almost instant, unless the PC is idle, then it reverts to the slow first run again. Not prompt if I need to post separately.

Are you running the macro as soon as ClipboardFusion starts? If so, what happens if you wait about 1 minute after starting ClipboardFusion before trying to run the macro?

I have ClipboardFusion starting up with Windows and it would be several minutes before running the first macro as I first need to open other programs and documents before using the macro feature.

It also seems that after several minutes everything is unloaded from memory. On the first run, it takes several seconds to load the macro. On an immediate execution, the same macro is almost instant, but after several minutes it takes several seconds to load again.

Ok, thanks for the extra info! We're going to do some more testing here and also make a change for the next beta that should hopefully help here. We'll keep you posted when it's available to try out.

We've just released a new beta version of ClipboardFusion (https://www.clipboardfusion.com/Download/Beta) and this issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!

Thank you!
I have given it a good test drive and none of the problems of the delayed running of macros have re-occurred. This is a great help as I rely on these macros for my daily work flow.
