I am using 5.0 beta 3. When I regular copy in MS Word (scrubbing is set on double-copy), after I paste the text, Clipboard Fusion gives a notification that the clipboard has been scrubbed. This makes it impossible to paste twice with formatting.
We were able to reproduce this issue here, and I've added it to our list. We'll be sure to let you know as soon as we're able to fix it up
For now, you might have to use another ClipboardFusion scrubbing mode, or use a HotKey to make ClipboardFusion scrub when you need it to. Here's how to set that up:
Disable ClipboardFusion Scrubbing
Open the ClipboardFusion Settings window to the "HotKeys" tab
Double-click the "Scrub Clipboard text now and paste"
In the window that pops up, give the HotKey a key combination
Click OK to close that window, then OK again on the Settings window to save and apply your changes
Now, when you want to paste scrubbed text into Word, all you have to do is use the key combination you set up.
Thanks. I have another annoyance and I don't know whether it is Clipboard Fusion related or not. Once I copy text in Word, Word thinks the document that had text copied from has been altered and indicates it needs to be saved again (an asterisk by the document name).
Does this still happen to you if you close ClipboardFusion? If so I'll add it to our list to be fixed up.
Thanks!
This behavior (Word thinking the document has changed after a copy of text) only happens when Clipboard Fusion is open. If I close CF, the behavior does not manifest.
Thanks!
