I have a few suggestions for the Clipboard History, if you're interested:
Can you add a timestamp to each item? Perhaps shown below the text that appears when you hover the mouse over it.
Can you make it so that a larger picture thumbnail is shown when you hover the mouse over a picture item?
Can you make it so that the focus is automatically in the search text box after we open the Clipboard History so we can start typing immediately?
Perhaps add a different icon to an item if it has BBCode/HTML?
How big can the History get? There's a "maximum number of items" setting but realistically? There's also no option to choose a folder for the database. Is there a database file? If so, I'd be happier if I could place it elsewhere, in a different HDD/partition.
Thanks, I'll add these to our suggestions list for sure, and we'll let you know if/when we're able to implement them.
There's a separate HotKey for opening the History Menu with the search box focused. You can set it on the Settings > HotKeys tab.
Regarding the number of history items: The limit is 300, and it should work pretty well, though you'll need to scroll a lot to get to the older items. There's no local database of items, they are just loaded into memory.
Please let me know if you run into any trouble at all.

Oh, you're right! I must've missed that, how embarrassing

I see. I asked because I'm a bit of a digital "hoarder". I keep a lot of stuff. I have used several clipboard managers, all of them with thousands of entries, and I frequently search the database for older entries and whatnot.
You can see the time the item was added to the history menu by hovering over it with your mouse. The tooltip will show the full text with the timestamp at the end.
